Description: The “Predicting Cognition with AI and Digital Data” webinar is a high-level collaborative initiative between the National Academy of Neuropsychology (NAN) and the Southern African Clinical Neuropsychological Association (SACNA). Presented by Dr Raeanne Moore (UC San Diego), the webinar explores the transformative role of digital technologies—such as smartphone-based testing, wearables, and passive sensing—in cognitive assessment. The session focuses on moving beyond simple measurement toward individualised prediction using AI and predictive modelling. Dr Moore will draw on her extensive research in ageing, Alzheimer’s disease, and serious mental illness to address both the methodological breakthroughs and the ethical challenges of building equitable digital health models.
