August 12, 2025Psychologists and other psychology professionals often have clients who take St John’s Wort as a “natural alternative” to pharmacological anti-depressant medication. However, there are pros and cons, benefits and dangers of taking this substance. By doing this Mini Course, psychology professionals will equip themselves with the latest information so that they can bring the medical/health risks to their clients’ attention.
To successfully complete this Neuropsychology SA Mini Course, participants are required to read a specific article, answer the multiple choice questions based on the article with at least 80% correct, and submit their answers by no later than 30 November 2025.
This Neuropsychology SA Mini Course course is aimed at psychologists, registered counsellors and psychology students, but all may participate. The cost is R747-50 (FREE to non-Limited members of Neuropsychology SA; to become a member of Neuropsychology SA, click HERE). Participants from outside of South Africa are also welcome to do the course. Only South African psychology professionals registered with the HPCSA will receive the CPD points; other participants will receive a certificate of participation.
