Somatic Education: Nia Art of Sensation Training
September 29, 2026How do you assess someone when the tests available were developed for a different language, culture or educational context?
This practical workshop will help you decide when a test can be adapted, when it should not be, and when a new local or indigenous measure may be needed. You will learn how to adapt test instructions, administration and scoring while protecting validity and fairness, drawing on the International Test Commission (ITC) guidelines.
Using real examples from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas, together with hands-on exercises, you will learn practical strategies you can apply to your own languages, populations and practice settings.
Come away better equipped to select, adapt and use neuropsychological tests fairly and defensibly across cultures and languages.
